Family Vacation!!!!

We went to Arches National Park a week ago for our family vacation. It was a little cold in the morning, but it turned out to be a great day! The boys had a blast climbing all over the rocks. It was nice to be outside together. If William had had his way we would have stayed at double arch all day long.

William and Maxson had a theme song on the trip, "The boys are rock n' roll!" (They got it from a chipmunk movie...thanks, Brian and Paula!) The video below is a preview of their singing!

Gratitude

So...I've been a slacker. Mostly because I'm too lazy to get out the camera and download photos and videos. Maybe I'll do that this weekend. But I did want to say that even though William has had strep throat 4 times in the last 3 months, Maxson has had it once, Gwen has had it twice, Devlin twice, and me once--I'm grateful :-). I'm glad that I don't have it (ha ha). Everyone has it right now, so I'm staying a far distance from all of them until they're "not contagious" anymore.

What else am I grateful for??? I'm grateful for another huge thing that deserves confetti, streamers, parties, and definitely some homemade oatmeal cake...maybe I'll get to that when we're all feeling a little better. So, drum roll please....thanks to the super hard work of the handsome, suave, tall dark and handsome Devlin (and co-workers--but this post isn't about them, it's about Devlin)...Devlin's business (and co-founder Brian) got their funding for another year!!!! WAHOO!! WAHOO!!! So, I wanted to take a moment--a public one, and tell you Devlin, how proud I am of you. I'm so thankful for such a wonderfully hard working, fun loving, make me laugh even when I'm ticked kind of guy. And one day...one day when you don't have strep...we'll go celebrate. You're awesome. It's been super hard work--and I'm so proud of you. You rock my world ;-)

Valentine's Game - Heart Bingo

For any of you Mom's out there who are planning/helping with a Valentines party at your kid's school this is for you–Valentine Bingo Cards! I got this idea off of Kaboose.com. The only problem with their's was that they used numbers all the way to 70 and my son's Kindergarten class has only learned the numbers 1-30. This is a fun thing to do at home as a family using conversation hearts as markers! So, download the PDFs I made, print them on red card stock and have fun!
