Merry Christmas

Gwen (age 2) - Loves to dress up, dance, dress up .... and has her own song entitled, "Gwen Maria's a Princess." She's great at giving hugs and cheering everybody up. She doesn't take any trouble from her brothers and can hold her own. She asked for a Jessie doll from Toy Story and was thrilled when she opened it this morning.
Maxson (age 4) - Is learning to read. He's a big Toy Story fan and asked for "Woody" for Christmas. He hasn't put Woody down since he opened him! He's growing a mile a minute and I'm convinced he'll be the tallest of our kids when he's older. I'm not looking forward to him starting Kindergarten next year. I love spending one-on-one time with him when Gwen's down for her nap and William's at school. That one-on-one time with each kid is precious and slips by too quickly.
William (age 6) - In the 1st grade and is a super reader. He loves to play dress up. For Christmas, he wanted a How to Train Your Dragon role play dress up set that included a viking helmet, hatchet, and shield. He was also in amazement yesterday, when his cousins gave him and Maxson their old V-Tech gaming system. His exact words were, "I never thought I'd ever get a video game in my entire life!"
Cheree - Trying to stay sane is a daily challenge here with the three kids. I am frequently found to be saying, "What time is it?" Hoping the answer will be a closer time to when Daddy comes home. I finally developed our wedding photos and put them in an album. William looked at the pictures and said we looked young. I guess we're getting old now.
Devlin - Staying super busy with Instructure. They recently secured UEN as a customer which we're ecstatic about. Literally. I screamed when he told me. Devlin graduated with his master's degree in Computer Science from BYU this year...yeah...I screamed and cried when that happened....so UEN, graduation....it's a toss up. Devlin also wanted me add that he grew a beard. He looks like Stark from Eureka for those SciFi channel fans.
We're so grateful for all that we have been blessed with. We couldn't ask for better friends and family that have supported us and strengthened us this year. Most especially we're grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. What a wonderful blessing it is to know and feel of his love for us at this Christmas season. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas.
Love,

Sing Sweet Nightingale
The other day I was cleaning the house, and as I was passing down the hall, I saw Gwen on her hands and knees in the bathroom. Earlier, she had had me put her hair in a pony tail, which she calls, "Cinderella Hair," and she was wearing her Cinderella dress. She had also taken a wet wipe from her room and was using it to scrub the floor! Doing her very best, she was singing, "Sing Sweet Nightingale." Too cute!

Happy Anniversary!

Once upon a time, a girl woke up and said to her sister, "Have you ever thought that you'd meet your husband that day?" And her sister replied, "Uh, obviously no. (They were still both single and living as room mates)." Later that day, the girl met a tall, dark handsome man. They fell in love, got married, and are living happily ever after. I love you, Devlin.
